This is where it begins.
I had just entered FIT in the Fall 2022 semester. I was about to turn 22, it was my first year semi-permanently living in New York City, and at this point I still knew next to nothing about photography as an art, let alone a science. Who knew learning the basics about lighting started with a book on the physics of light?
